It is my understanding that last Monday, June 1, 2020, Chief Executive Officer Brad Tilden issued a statement that he expects the carrier to make a 35% reduction in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and that this would entail perhaps furloughing some 7,000 employees. If true, a possible implication is that AMFA members could be furloughed in the same proportion.

We are now accepting submissions for for the AMFA Local 14 2020 Scholarship Award.?Please fill out the form and submit all attachments digitally to Secretary@amfa14.org for consideration.Completed forms must be emailed to Secretary@amfa14.org by 1700 PST on June 30th.We will randomly draw the 4 $1000 scholarship winners at the July 15th Regular Membership meeting.

Update from ALR Jarod Mills 8th May 2020We extended the COVID-19 MOU until September 30, 2020. Note that anyone taking a Leave of Absence longer than 90 days, seniority will be affected. Following CBA Article 11 guidelines for Leave of Absence. Seniority penalty does not apply for leaves using sick leave. (click header for more)
